The "Paladins" have a rich history dating back to the Roman Empire and Charlemagne's Twelve Peers. The Paladins held positions of responsibility within courts of law whose primary duties were to serve the 'NOBLE CAUSES' of their time. While unabashedly altruistic, the company name represents our desire to serve others who are similarly engaged in making a difference and contributing to the greater, common good.
Fred E. Weiderhold

Fred is a highly experienced railroad executive with a diverse background in overseeing rail and transit operations and associated major capital programs. He served as a Federal statutory Inspector General and senior executive for Amtrak with responsibility for overseeing $4 billion in annual revenues and expenses. Over three decades, he has led programmatic reviews for Boards of Directors, CEOs, and testified before Congress and State Legislatures on transportation issues. Fred has served as a subject matter expert for rail safety and security, and formed the first international rail security forum. In founding Paladin Partners, Fred continues to lead reviews and assessments for transportation clients and has extended his work into mergers, acquisitions, and start-ups for rail and technology assets.
